Jay's practice was easy to commute to, the space is clean, and as a professional he really knows his stuff. He answered my questions, and explained his process throughout our session which I really appreciated. Acupuncture is not fully "pain free" but it is a path to healing that I wish I had started sooner. I look forward to scheduling again and highly recommend Rophé! And dont forget to tip since ClassPass doesn't include that.

It was not just a visit, it was also a learning lesson of how to consume certain foods, different postures, and exercises to prevent future pains. An all encompassing diagnosis! There was a lot of attention to detail, and I was incredibly impressed because I grew up with a mom who is a masseuse. This location is a very convenient in the Upper East, a 5 min walk from the Q line. Super clean environment in the office and the neighborhood, would highly recommended coming ASAP!

I was really nervous but She guided me through every step of the way and I genuinely felt better afterwards!! And not the type of better that goes away after a while, it’s been about 4 days since I’ve gone and my back pain has been mitigated by A LOT. Expect a little discomfort at times, as it is such a deep tissue massage that utilizes pressure points. I was never in pain, and discomfort is necessary for such an effective massage. Voir tous les avisI've been looking for a regular acupuncture place since my place closed during covid. I went here because I have some recurring low back and glute pain that doesn't seem to resolve itself from stretching, PT and chiropractic. This space is a no frills kind of spot, but is clean. The Dr was professional but I felt like her staff's communication was a little hard to make out...English is not their first language. Session took about 1 hour and consisted of an intake/paperwork and spoke with her briefly about my health/family history. She put in about 15-20 needles in the areas that were bothering me as well as the other side to balance it and had me lay under this heated lamp which was different. never had that in an acu treatment before. I laid there for 20-30 mins. After she removed the needles, she had another worker come in and give me a pretty forceful massage, not the relaxing kind. it was very different from my more Western accupuncture experiences. I'll see how I feel these next few days if it helped.

I told the massage therapist where I was having pain, and she found places I didn't even realize were tight. She found the places I felt the most stiff without me guiding her at all, and I felt like she was really paying attention to my muscles and how they felt as opposed to going through a basic massage flow. Will definitely be back to continue to treat my pain. Just make sure to communicate if it hurts though - I asked for deep pressure and definitely got it 😅

Voir tous les avisThe room and equipment did not seem thoroughly clean. I saw dust under the table I laid on. Elizabeth Wang also did not have good bedside manner. There was little communication with me throughout the session. For example, lack of communication on when she was going to start the acupuncture, barely asked how I was doing, and left me on the table while the timer went off until another staff came to help & removed the needles and equipment she put on me. She did not ask for permission to put electrical modalities on me simultaneously to acupuncture. The electrical modality was too strong that the needles around it moved and felt incredibly painful. Felt pressured to do a cupping afterwards despite expressing concerns of doing too many modalities all at once at such a short time. Highly do not recommend. I did not feel medically safe during the whole session. I felt incredibly painful for 4 days.
